All new car

I'm thinking seriously cool!!! It looks lush and you're right - life is way too short, so enjoy it. Sounds like it's going to do the job you want. Does it fit 6 people....?

Your story sounds very similar to what happened to us. Had a pile o shit Honda Stream or whatever, people carrier, seat belt didn't fit round rear facing car seat (WTF!!) so got rid of it (people didn't notice dent in passenger door where I'd kicked the damn thing every time I couldn't get Jack's baby seat in) and thought about the Chrysller Grand Voyager, looked very sleek and mean, not bulky like a lot of people carriers, but my old man personally said he would rather have teeth extraction than drive in a people carrier again, so our search for a nice family car, to fit 3 kids, two approaching teens, and one littlun, resulted in a very uneconomical beastly Honda Legend - bout 19mpg - but hey - it was a nice car and my husbands masculinity was restored 100% for the year that we had it!

Alx

The car is not a people carrier, and does not having sliding doors, nor does it seat 6 (5 at a push), however it does have;

A 5 star American equivalent to the NCAP rating suystem
Air Con
Big load area
It's Diesel/Automatic combo produces excellent fuel economy, 42 MPG on motorways 26 MPG around town, all-in-all averages out at 36MPG which for a 3.0 litre V6 engine is excellent and something I can live with.
With tinted windows, Sat Nav, Cruise control, alloys and a whole host of other electronic goodies plus leather interior it's going to be a real dream to drive.

Just need to get rid of the Broken Delica on the drive and the VW Fastback, Classic 1971, immaculate condition. Any takers?

Great car for looks -- it is about the only North American car with pimp factor of eleven, totally off the scale. Good luck keeping your motor running with English petrol prices. I'm sure you have one of the hemi 8 cylinder models that runs on 4 cylinders once you're up to speed? Or is it really diesel, for the export trade? Great blog or vox, innit?
